The ILS PPE Graduate Fellowship is a selective program for Canadian PhD students in politics, philosophy, and economics. Students in other fields may be considered if their research themes relate to PPE. In exceptional cases, Masters students may also be considered.
The fellowship consists of 10 virtual meetings during the fall semester, each lasting 90 minutes. These meetings will include paper discussions and career advice. Each fellow will also be expected to present an idea for an academic paper.
The fellowship will conclude with a full day in-person meeting in Winter 2023 during which all participants will present a draft of their paper. After incorporating the feedback received at this meeting, we hope that our fellows will have a paper ready for journal submission within six months of the end of the fellowship.
As part of the fellowship students receive a stipend of $1,000 along with funding for travel to the final meeting.
Applications for 2022-23 are due by July 31, 2022.
Applications from previous participants in the fellowship are welcomed.
